Pub-like interior with a big, charming wooden bar. I had great fish and chips. My husband liked but didn't love his pizza. My aunt got a fancy appetizer that was big enough to share. Good food for not bad prices. Good service. Friendly, intimate atmosphere.

Yes! A delicious local pizza place within walking distance and they deliver! Crispy, flavorful crust and a slightly sweeter sauce making biting into the cheese pizza absolutely delicious! The BBQ Chicken Pizza is also full of flavor. This is a new local favorite for us.

We have tried Milos several times over the last few months. The food is really good. I gave them three stars though because the 6 times we have ordered from them, only once have them gotten our order correct. Everything from undercooked wings, the wrong toppings on pizza, the wrong size pizza and the box being completely stuck to the top of the pizza. If they fix the quality issues, its good food. I hope they see this and work on the issues.

These 4+ star reviews are a real head scratcher. The pizza is similar to something you would find in a gas station and the entrees taste like they were created entirely from canned and frozen goods. We visited twice and will not return.

We haven't eaten here since August 2012 but have seen a lot of cars parked out front in recent weeks. It was time for a second go of it. It's funny to reread my review from 2012. Things are pretty much the same. Very Panera like, in that you order at the counter and get your own drinks. The food wasn't bad. We ordered a cheesesteak that was so huge and we decided to split it. It had good flavor (not greasy) and an excellent roll. Onion rings were hot and crispy. If we stopped there, I would give the place a 4. But again, it was the flow of the restaurant that is off-putting. First, if you order at the counter and you have to get your own drinks and flatware, why are they asking for a tip (up front)? No addition service is provided other then the person who was behind the counter brought us our food. As strange as it sounds, if they would eliminate the request for a tip, allow us to just walk up to the counter to pick up our own food AND give us the option to throw our own trash away, I would give it a 4. We will probably get their pizza in the future, as long as I just drive by and pick it up. The overall dining experience at the location detracts from the food.

Food was great for the price. Fries where season and the onion rings where cooked just right. Might I suggest cheese steak hoagie.

I can't complain! Quick and easy counter service and very yummy and decently priced food! Can get a bit noisy. Looking forward to checking out their tavern side as well.

Another two stars for a New Market establishment. Its "Ok" at best. I would not make a point to stop here.

Casual. Good sandwiches. Not a white table cloth kind of place. Friendly staff. Good ingredients. Nice.

Not very good - wanted to like it because it's close by, but really pretty blah. We tried some sandwiches. Also tried the outside ice cream stand, and that was pretty unimpressive too. Sorry Milo's!

I actually love this place. It is always very clean and the food is awesome and reasonably priced. They offer more than just your standard pizza and subs. Very clean and very comfy appearances

Pizza is good, subs are better. Very reasonable prices. You order at counter and then sit. I highly recommend the Philly cheese sub. Only thing I personally would like to see improved is their pizza sauce. I like a rich sauce with a little spice. I find there pizza sauce to be bland. I do recommend Milo's if you are in the New Market area. We live here and it is our go to for pizza.

Was very much looking forward to seeing what Milo's was going to be all about when they started setting up. With no real decent options for dining in downtown New Market, I was excited. Sadly, it was disappointment as soon as I walked in. We had waited a couple weeks to give them time to get settled in, but the staff still seemed a bit slow. My first disappointment was when I realized it was an 'order at the counter' type set up. Already I was wary. The menu was limited, obviously they have no grill or fryer, so the options were essentially subs, paninis, and pizza. Decided on a panini and a soda. The soda is serve yourself, and there was no ice prepped in the machine. The panini itself was lackluster. The bread was dry, the chicken was processed and pre cooked. I'm actually not convinced that it was actually prepared and pressed back in the kitchen. The bread itself looked as if the press marks were manufactured into it, much like the fake grill marks one finds on cheap steak at someplace like ponderosa. It was closer to a panini you would find in the frozen food section at the grocery store. Also tried a slice of pizza, and the crust seemed pre made, the sauce was bland, and the sparse sprinkling of fresh basil really did nothing more than highlight the fact that everything about this place was geared towards doing things as cheaply and effortlessly as possible. All in all, a disappointing outing, and no chance of a second visit. **Updated and changed rating from 2 star to 1 star following the discovery that several months after my initial visit, Milo's decided to bill me a second time for the meal I had already paid for back in September.

Was better the 2nd time! The pizza tasted so much better and I really enjoyed the salad I got. It was a pesto chicken salad or something like that. It had a great flavor and it was very filling. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite in the New Market area. Go there expecting decent subs/sandwiches, salads and pizza. And it is a self serve kind of place, so don't expect waitress service and fine china!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
